bfinance has been selected to assist North Yorkshire Pension Fund to find, review and appoint a direct lending fund manager with Northern European small to medium size enterprises (SMEs) and mid-market experience.

The focus will be on assisting North Yorkshire Pension Fund to invest £120 million to £130 million in a fund (or funds) focused on investing in private corporate debt. bfinance will help select one to two managers or funds with experience in investing in SMEs across Europe to manage some of these assets.

bfinance has worked with many of the leading local government pension funds in the UK, representing in excess of 50% of total assets under management, and internationally has advised over 70 public pension funds. bfinance has a tailored search methodology in a competitive landscape of pooled funds which enables it to identify an excellent match for the client’s requirements.

The deadline to be considered is February 17, 2016.
